The Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS) is a digital policing initiative enhancing crime reporting, investigation, and data management in India. This study assesses its implementation in Sagar City, Madhya Pradesh, highlighting its benefits in streamlining law enforcement while identifying challenges such as software issues, inadequate training, and infrastructure gaps. Key recommendations include improved system usability, cybersecurity measures, and better training. Addressing these concerns will enhance CCTNS’s efficiency, ensuring a more transparent and technology-driven criminal justice system.
