Dr. Ambedkar on Women Liberation: Aims for Recasting Womenrights and Establishing Social Democracy in India

Dr. BR Ambedkar was path-maker of Indian Constitution. He wanted to make a path for uprising the women’s rights through his thoughts and beliefs. Social democracy will not be fulfilled if we people should not be able to change our mind-set towards women; especially those women are coming from dalit, minority and weaker section of the society. In this context, the paper intends and tries to narrate the rights and empowerment of women in the view of Ambedkar. The paper also attempts to highlight the relevance of Ambedkar at contemporary day India.
