In competitive Market every Business Organization aspires to create a high level of performance and low level of absenteeism and turnover. Employees are one of the most important resources for the organization's long-term success and effectiveness. Organizational commitment is considered a key factor to achieving this objective. With the competition of globalization, many policies such as process re-engineering, strategic alliance, outsourcing, merger and reorganization, and flat organization emerged, making organizations less willing to meet the commitments of their employees. As a result, the organizations had to renegotiate and modify some of the terms of the original employment agreement. Understanding the origins and effects of job commitment may be quite beneficial.
